Meet Kelley
Hey, I’m Kelley, a San Francisco Bay Area photographer based in Walnut Creek. I believe the best photographs aren’t performed, they’re lived, and my role is to create space for you to feel fully yourself, comfortable, seen and honored in every frame. I photograph weddings, elopements and couples, and all the beautiful human moments that come after as your family grows. I started as a teen with my grandma’s cameras and a darkroom in the laundry room, and some of those cameras and lenses still come to my shoots. Since 2016 I’ve photographed over 500 weddings on film, digital and Super 8, featured in The Knot, Diablo Magazine and White Wren.
With a heart for adventure and an eye for emotion, I’ll be your calm in the whirlwind, attuned to subtleties that often slip by unnoticed. Sometimes that looks like offering gentle guidance, other times it means fading quietly into the background. Either way, the space is yours to live fully, while I preserve it in images that feel as alive as the day itself.

We’ve worked with Kelley for the last three years. We’ve done a variety of photo sessions with her ranging from a maternity boudoir, holiday photos, and most recently, a family maternity photo shoot. Kelley is simply amazing. I have always been uncomfortable in front of the camera. Kelley immediately puts me at ease. She blends serious photography skills with light-hearted candor and our shoots with her always feel relaxed and genuine. We even did a “mini-session” and with just 20 minutes to shoot, there was never any pressure. She knows kids and worked extremely well with our toddler. Questions Couples Ask
How much is wedding photography with you?
Wedding coverage starts at $4,600. My signature collection, the one most of my couples choose, includes analog film and digital and a second creative team member, and your hours are tailored to your story, from compact coverage to a full weekend.
Do you travel for weddings?
Yes. I'm based in Walnut Creek and photograph weddings across Northern California, from Napa and Sonoma to Carmel, Sea Ranch and Lake Tahoe, and I travel worldwide.
Do you shoot film?
Yes, every wedding is photographed on analog film and digital, side by side. You can also add Super 8 video, shot on real film with my dad's old camera.
Will you pose us?
As much or as little as you'd like. Before your wedding, you'll fill out a detailed questionnaire about how you want to be portrayed as a couple, how you want to feel on the day and how you want to tell your love story. From that I know how much direction you'd like and how much room to just be in the moment, and I'll tell you what's working and where the light is good along the way.
What is it like working with you on your wedding day?
My years of event experience let me blend in with your planner, venue and vendors, and I handle a lot of silent labor you'll never know about, so you get to stay present with your people.
Do you offer engagement sessions?
Yes. An engagement session is $950 when you book it with your wedding, or $1,250 and up on its own.
When will we get our photos?
You'll get sneak peeks within a few days of your wedding and your full online gallery within a month.
Do you photograph families too?
Yes. I photograph families, maternity and newborns in Walnut Creek and across the Bay Area, with personal styling included in every full family session. See family sessions.
How do we book?
Reach out through my contact page, and we'll dial in your contract and collect your retainer to hold your date.
